LOCAL MISSIONS
Ooltewah Baptist partners with local ministry that serve at-risk mothers, local schools, and disaster relief in the greater Chattanooga area. Intentional local partnerships such as the Hamilton County Baptist Association, Foundation House Ministry, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, and the Good News Clubs.
NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS
Ooltewah Baptist partners with the North American Mission Board and other mission ministries to reduce lostness in North America. Through church planting, we partner with NAMB to respond to brokenness with the hope of the gospel. We have teams going on mission with TN Diaster Relief, Samaritan’s Purse, and pursuing partnerships with church planters.
GLOBAL MISSIONS
Nearly 2 billion people in our world have little or no access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are desperate for someone to share His life with them. In order to meet this need, Ooltewah Baptist partners with the International Mission Board. Our church is also in active partnership with Camp Victoria in Viegues, Puerto Rico.
ARISE AND BUILD
Through ARISE AND BUILD, Tennessee Baptist churches have committed to rebuilding homes and repairing as many others as possible, collaborating with the Appalachian Service Project.
Ooltewah Baptist rose to the challenge, giving generously to build a new home for a family in Roan Mountain, TN.
OUR SENDING STRATEGY
Members of Ooltewah Baptist Church are called to join in the Global Impact Missions to see lives changed by Jesus in the following ways.
PRAY
Regular intercession for existing and future mission endeavors, intentional missionaries in partnership with OBC and for members being sent on mission.
GIVE
Faithful and generous support given to the Global Impact Missions Budget through regular financial gifts.
EQUIP
Learn about upcoming mission opportunities, prepare for short-term trips and intentional missionary partnerships.
SEND
Calling our church to make efforts to go on mission through a short-term mission trip whether local, national, or international.

RECENT MISSION TRIPS
Panama City, FL October 2018
OBC partnered with St. Andrew Baptist Church and Florida Disaster Relief sending a team and supplies after Hurricane Michael.
Chattanooga, TN April 2020
Tornados tore through our area on the evening of Easter Sunday, 2020. In the following months, OBC worked alongside disaster relief teams to bring hope to our community.
Mayfield, KY September 17-22, 2023
Our team helped rebuild homes in Mayfield, KY, with Samaritan's Purse and brought hope to an area devastated by tornados.
Puerto Rico August 19-25, 2023
Puerto Rico is a beautiful island but also an island in need—physically, economically, and spiritually. We partnered with Beyond Relief and Camp Victoria.
FOUNDATION HOUSE Serve Day, November 18, 2023
OBC served alongside the Foundation House in Cleveland, TN. This SERVE event included cleaning, trimming, junk removal, minor repairs. Many service opportunities for all ages and skill levels.
Mayfield, KY December 2023
Team sent to rebuild homes in Mayfield, KY with Samaritan's Purse. A small team of dedicated OBC members helped to bring hope to hurting community. .
PUERTO RICO March 15-24, 2024
Our team engaged construction with our mission partner Camp Victoria. Located on the beautiful island of Vieques. Camp Victoria has the vision of reaching Puerto Rico with the good news of Jesus!
India May 29-June 8, 2024
Each Summer Crosspoint of India hosts a VBS for orphans and children in their community. OBC joined a team of 30 locals that served over 500 kids at VBS in 2024!
COALFIELD WEST VIRGINIA July 14-20 2024
Traveled to the heart of Appalachia to Coalwood West Virginia located in McDowell County. A week of Vacation Bible School, Back Yard Bible Clubs, and Food Pantry Ministry.
GOOD NEWS CLUB
OBC is on mission in our local community through leading a weekly Good News Club in our partnership elementary school. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who love to share the good news with kids!
ARISE AND BUILD, 2025
Ooltewah Baptist rose to the challenge of living on mission, adopting a family to fund the rebuilding of their home. In partnership with T Baptist and the Appalachia Service Project, OBC will build a new home for the family in Roan Mountain.

A team from our church served with TBC Disaster Relief in Elizabethton, TN. Helping families with repair, cleanup, and rebuilding after Hurricane Helene.
